Their story began in July 2014, when they both attended a mutual friends rooftop birthday party.  Joy was introduced to James, who quickly caught her eye.  As the party progressed,  it unfortunately began to rain.  Luckily, James was smart and had an umbrella.  Umbrella-less Joy quickly sought cover under James’ umbrella.  The two then went to the indoor bar, where as a thank you, Joy bought James a beer.  Over 2 Coors lights and conversation, James asked for Joy’s number.  The next day they went on their first date. 

Fast forward 3 years later to May 2017.  Same outdoor bar, same 2 people.  This time James ordered the Coors Lights, but instead of asking for her number…he asked her for forever.
